Champion Hickory’s Baers Americas Cup “Alinghi”

Alinghi at 15 months of age

Alinghi is from Hickory's first litter and is our first "home bred" Champion.
She was just 18 months old when she finished and was breeder/owner
handled for every one of her points, most of which came from the
puppy classes or Bred By Exhibitor class.

Alinghi is not only Hickory's first home bred Champion but
she is also the first Champion kid of both her Sire (Ch Eur-Am's
Einstein Baer CGC, TDI, HIC) and her Dam (Aiyana van de Weyenberg).

Alinghi's show career started off late in the summer of 2003 with back to back
RWB on her 6 month birthday weekend and she went on to win her first
major (over our Curie and Seri) at the ripe old age of 7 months. She
picked up a win here and there out of the puppy classes, was lined up
5th in the Bred By Class at Nationals, got her 2nd major (4 pointer)
by taking BOS over 3 Special bitches when she was 15 months old a few more
points out of the BBE class. She finished off in style
with 2 BOS's and finally with a big bang taking Breed over a Special
for her final point.

Alinghi is a lovely combination of both her mother and father. She's a good sized girl (95 pounds) with her mother's sweet disposition and her father's spirit and zest for life.
I can't wait to get this exceptionally athletic girl into Agility.
